"Bear fruit in keeping with repentance."
Matthew 3:8
Sin. We've all been there. Maybe yesterday, maybe five minutes ago, maybe tomorrow morning.
Recently I spent a whole month feeding myself with scripture that might help me move past a sin I've struggled with for nearly a lifetime.
God's grace in our repentance is how we keep moving. That repentance, life change, leads us in a new direction.
It's not a one-time thing. A momentary confession and turning around when we receive Christ.
Jesus tells us to continually bear fruit in keeping with repentance. Living lives that look different than the one before we knew Him.
Thank you for the reminder Pastor Tim.
Lord, may I live a life of bearing fruit and keeping with repentance. A life changed because of you...
*Move with me? If you don't find me here tomorrow as I make my change to a new blogging home, try typing in my address http://www.satisfiedbylove.blogspot.com. It is the same address, but in a new location (sounds crazy I know). Thank you for sticking with me! See you soon!
